The Park Experience

Oak Grove’s Adventure Playground has been thoughtfully designed for everyone to enjoy. Families will find endless play opportunities, with water features for little ones who love to splash, open lawns perfect for a kick of the football, and a dedicated children’s cycle circuit for young riders. 

The park also brings nature to life with nature-inspired play structures – including teepee huts and steppers – that spark curiosity and safe exploration. For older kids (and kids at heart), a basketball half-court adds even more ways to stay active. 

For adults, the park is just as inviting. Shaded seating areas offer the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, while fitness stations and walking paths provide space to move, recharge, and connect with the outdoors.  

And when the weekend rolls around, the barbecue shelter becomes a welcoming hub for neighbours to gather, share a meal, and build lasting friendships while children play together nearby. 

The Value

Oak Grove’s Adventure Park is more than a local playground – it’s a landmark investment in the community’s future. Developed by Goldmate in collaboration with leading landscape architects Beveridge Williams, every detail of the park has been designed to enhance daily life for residents, now and for generations to come. 

As Principal Landscape Architect Bronwyn Mulligan explains, the vision was to create “an intergenerational space for all ages and all abilities. A reserve that caters to everyone and every use.” This philosophy guided the design process, ensuring the park would be inclusive, enduring, and genuinely enriching for the people who call Oak Grove home. 

The outcome is a park that blends natural beauty with functional design – a place where children can explore safely, families can gather, and neighbours can form meaningful connections. It’s a considered response to modern living, offering residents a healthy counterbalance to busy schedules and digital distractions.
